19.5 for Lec in clean air vs 19.2 for Norris. Lewis did a 19.4 on tyres that are 8 laps older.
19.6 LEC, 19.3 NOR on the following lap. If that's is not a poor showing, then I don't know what is.
Leclerc consistently third fastest car on track behind Norris and Verstappen on the Softs.
Please mate, third fastest??? Distant P5, 22,7 sec behind race winner. Not even close to Mclaren or Mercedes.
You've not understood what I wrote it seems.

well better than last race :D.. GG for maxbull and mclaren.. but also impressive recovery for merc.. ferrari should now push harder for better upgrade or setup.
Ferrari pushed for upgrade, but as seen in Imola, upgrades just don’t have such an impact on a car performance

One thing I notice is Charles always appears too slow in the first few laps compared to their rest which then means dropping further down the field. Pace towards the end strong, but nowhere near equal to the RBR or MCL

Sad. Simply a sad performance. Two major upgrade packages and the result: fourth best behind RB, McL and MB.

Ferrari may need to backtrack the updates and figure out which component has been compromised..for sure disappointing performance..

Any reason to expect a better Ferrari performance at the Red Bull Ring?
Not really. It's a stop and go track, so i'm expecting the same pecking order

It is disappointing that a car that was solid 2nd best at the opening races now looks like the 4th best car.

Hard to believe that the team hits the mark so well with their first design of this concept... and procedes to stagnate.
The team needs to think long and hard on how they can improve the car, simply trimming it isn't doing the trick.

Sainz cost an easy P3 today, unfortunate but that's life. Charles pace in the second and third stint was very strong

Well let's hope the data from this weekend helps in figuring out the car for the Red Bull Ring...

It is probably an agreement in the team to get the tyres in gently to extend their life when your teammate is behind you.

But Carlos did Carlos things as usual and Ferrari lost a potential podium

Couldn’t watch the race but I followed via timing app.

Don’t know why Sainz passed LEC in the first stint but overall disappointing weekend. Was obviously hoping for more.

On to thr next and hopefully learn from mistakes.

This weekend was far from good, but let's look at things objectively. We were thousands from Merc in quali, which cost us two positions on the grid. Then Sainz did a stupid move on Leclerc, who obviously was thinking long term management.
By race pace, we were third, at least with Charles.

It is frustrating to see McLaren and Mercedes being close or ahead while we were 2nd force at the beginning, but this gp could have ended with a podium if well executed.

Page after page of delusion and rationalizing. But there are some facts we must agree on: at no point in this race were we ever truly in contention for the win. I wonder, is it just that the team only wants to be better and does not strive to be the best? Maybe Hamilton will bring a bit of killer instinct to the team next year.
