Can only speak for myself, but with Alonso driving around in the backfield the whole thrill of F1 weekends is gone. It’s even home race for me, but couldn’t care less. Really gutted about Aston, especially after last years start and the hope of #33.
In his current form ALO should talk less and deliver more, or retire. 3 tenths off STR after S2. Catastrophic performance. STR error prone. Car had clearly Q3 pace.

As an Alonso fan, I'm heartbroken that I have to agree with you...
defintely a car issue. since china or japan updates iirc. alonso has regressed in qualy. before p6,p4, p5 and p3 twice in qualy sessions. was p6 in canada
I can't work out if it's age catching up with Alonso, or it's a motivation issue, or something technical? The last 4-5 races he's been well below his best. Usually he's good at extracting everything from a --- car. He looks pretty much on level terms with Stroll now...Odd
I want to see who at 42 has the desire to qualify with a car that barely fights for points, knowing that last year in the first part you were constantly fighting against the best. I don't think there is any justification for such a sudden decline in the car for 2 years now
