Well this is gonna be one shot qualifying and Lando has not been on top form unfortunately. I am not super optimistic.

Good job by the guys on a super tight field where it didn't seem like they had too much pace.

Looks like we did found out some more pace but still we miss half a tenth compared to Red Bull as a car. It's gonna change soon though. All we need is another good upgrade.

I just hope Lando gets more wins against Max. The more he doesnt win the more the naysayers will call his victory in Miami a fluke.

I watched Landos lap, doesn't look that good. He made a clear mistake in T1 where he turned in too early and in T3 the car looked to understeer a lot. There was a snap in the middle sector as well.

His S1 wasn't amazing, but to be fair he has been looking scruffy today. Not the usual machine we are used to seeing by him on Austria.

Still a decent result though, and they will have one more practice before the main qualifying to sort things out. Hopefully they have clean starts and grab some points out of RB & Ferrari tomorrow.

So how much do you think that costed him in time?

teamstream said that there was something stuck on his front tire. not sure if he got it off or it affected his lap.
Great to see Oscar back!

Definitely. It's a great result, especially for the team. Ferrari is P5 and P10, Red Bull P1 and P7.

I just wanted to mention that the lap doesn't look amazing so there was probably more pace in the car. Lando was shaking his head in the car and wasn't talkative so I am sure he thinks he could get sprint pole.

Sprints are not that important, especially as the points differential is small so let's just do a clean one.

Absolutely. And ignoring Max for a moment, considering Lando didn't get that perfect lap in, there's still 3 tenths to Mercedes/Ferrari. And on such a short track, that difference is huge.

Really good to see the consistency at the top, as I said before. Even if they're not on pole here.

That doesn't really matter. As Barcelona proved getting pole doesn't give you an automatic victory. Lando and Oscar will have a chance tomorrow but both have to attack from the start.

Regarding that teamstream. Anyone knows if whatever stuck on Lando's car affected his last lap?

Oscar lost more than two tenths to a sick Lando. What's great about it? In my opinion, a weak performance.
