Interesting, i don’t see the same comments for Oscar failing his quali twice in a row… Double standards?
No, he's not halfway through his second season. I was dissapointed with the last race and openly called for him to start on Meds and sacrifice his race to support Lando and the win.
Team stream says the team are looking at it, so there's a small chance it gets overturned. Looked incredibly marginal to me, and also makes me question why they put a gravel trap there if they're going to enforce track limits anyway...Darth-Piekus wrote: ↑29 Jun 2024, 17:11Was he out of limits though?
Perhaps so, because the gap to Mercedes decreased from 0.3 to 0.1 sec
Then know that the comment is not going for anyone here. People here are totally ok.mwillems wrote: ↑29 Jun 2024, 17:11Given that it was a lot of people saying that on here, you nearly offended a third of this threadDarth-Piekus wrote: ↑29 Jun 2024, 17:08No worries Mcwillems. Im not talking about this forum. Im having in mind some others and remembering them.
Also, McWillems is my Scottish cousin who happens to like Big Macs, I am English of European descent and do not like Big Macs.
I agree. It's a bit strange. It would be worth making the curbs even narrower, so that driving beyond the white line would automatically lead to driving into gravel and wasting time.Slahinki wrote: ↑29 Jun 2024, 17:19Team stream says the team are looking at it, so there's a small chance it gets overturned. I believe Russell set his car up more for race pace so we can only guess that they all have?

Looks marginal, I hope they made that call with a top down view otherwise it's just guessing.
What's the point of enforcing track limits in a corner wheren you've gone to the trouble to lay gravel?

He is over the white line though, so not much to protest.LionsHeart wrote: ↑29 Jun 2024, 17:33https://i.ibb.co/vXTzRMP/3-B14-A0-A4-CD ... F7-FDA.jpgmwillems wrote: ↑29 Jun 2024, 17:23Mclaren challenging the call. Oscar says he was on the line and not in the gravel.
