Prema have two of the biggest talents in the sport and give them one of the worst cars in the field lmao. At least Bearman and Antonelli are matched, those two probably make it to F1 next season if this is the case.

Bearman being considered one of the "biggest talents" makes me physically ill. One of the most arrogant, eliteist and disrespectful drivers I ever had the disservice of racing against. His dad is a real piece of work as well. Bearman got smashed regulalrly in karts, ended up buying an engine builder that was a known cheat to win races and got so much money thrown at him that he couldn't avoid winning if he tried. Won a world championship with one of the best engines in europe and no competition, all the other top drivers in karts had run out of money or raced in different classes (rotax, kz or ok). Always knew he'd get to f1 with his financial backing. It makes me sick to think there where at least 15 drivers in just the uk who regularly beat him week in week out and yet because of how motorsport works he is the one who makes it. crazy world

This incredible insight matches up with what we see on screen. Overhyped driver by the dumb dumb commentators like Bernie speaking of him next to F1 world champions when he can’t even beat his teammate and has been mediocre at best

If the Dallara-Mecachrome combination is problematic with respect to inconsistent chassis quality (or the car is too difficult to setup) and inconsistent engine quality, why isn't the F2 tender awarded to another constructor, e.g., Williams-Cosworth or Oreca-Gibson? Is F2 organiser Bruno Michel unreasonably associated with Mecachrome?

Maybe someone can help me understand what's up with Prema, but even if the team is having issues, Bearman seems to have the measure of Antonelli. I really don't get the hype on the kid and can't help but notice Merc have gotten a lot quieter about him of late too.

What gives? What am I missing here?
