Unless they have a spare of the new floor! It's rare to decide to run a part on the car without a spare of the same spec.

If they have 2 floors of the new spec, they won't give 1 each to the drivers. they would give 1 driver the new floor and hold one spare.

I really doubt they would run quali with a floor having 0 same spec spares. The floor was worth 1 tenth at most so that's not a risk they'd take for such a small margin

They typically repair these floors with filler/glue. He hasn't crashed. It's just "gravel rash" but the floor is extremely sensitive to it.
