He was faster than the McLaren of Norris on the same tyre by a huge margin, and kept Max Behind on what was the slower tyre at the time.

The car was fast enough to do that.

Unbelievable!!

Unbelievable race management! There isn’t really anyone right now at the level Hamilton and Verstappen in terms of race management…

Fantastic driver from Lewis. Mercs are starting to look good. As normal with him, great in the changing condition and always knows how to look after his tyres.

McLaren had a horrible day with their strategies both not double stacking Oscar and then the softs at the end.

Red Bull were smart with Max think a sharp pit call and Max's driving made that work

Is it really Max Verstappen driving the No1 car??

He didn’t even defend against the McLarens…
Remember verstappen has damage to the floor..he may be losing quite a bit of downforce
They changed the floor

phenomenal race, great result. Welcome back to the winner's circle Lewis. You were unbelievable today.
Mclaren and Norris just keep shooting themselves in the foot.
And Verstappen. Why was he so slow in the opening stint only to come roaring back at the end? Still finds a way to extend his championship lead. smh...

A win for Piastri is coming soon. Please do not forget that Perez will win too this year.

Let's not ignore the clinical drive by Max Verstappen in all of this! That call on the inters shows Max is on an extremely high level when it comes to reading the conditions! yes the hards brought him into play, and McLaren and perhaps Mercedes made the wrong call... but Max nearly stole a win there!!

Norris could go on medium and had 2s slower tire change which could be enough to exit ahead of Ham.

Lewis and Max masterclass.

Mclaren is close, but showed they still have a lot to learn to be regular front runners again.

This is why everyone who thinks they can be champion can’t be, it's details, details, details. Senna worked on those, Michael did, Max and Lewis as well.
