Whelbase is huge, at least 5 m. Ugly car, dear God, save us.
Factually incorrect. It has a very very similar size and footprint to an Aston Martin DBX. So a wheelbase of at least 5m is about 1.5m out.
Clearly Valkyrie had some massive technical issues to the point the amr pro isn't a valkyrie at all, it's a completely different car that sort of looks like a valkyrie. I have way more confidence in RBT executing valkyrie 2.0 than Aston Martin executing valkyrie with their former CEO making crazy promises in the press.
This is a show car. Note that it doesn't have any doors or any ground clearance on the side skirts. It's going to change quite a bit for the real thing.
Like already said this is just a show car and I think it was mentioned that this was the design from a year ago, so it likely has undergone a lot of development since then. If you look at the first and second proper release of pictures from the Valkyrie you see it was nearly a different car, in terms of aerodynamics and I assume this will be similar.
That's tantamount to seeing an Indy car and saying "it looks just like an F1 car!". Similarities, yes; there are certain features of racecars that will always be the most efficient, especially coming from the same mastermind. Someone should post some comparison pics side by side.SiLo wrote: ↑12 Jul 2024, 10:41So its just a Valkyrie AMR Pro?
