But Fernando said "good luck" when the engineer specifically asked him about the car balance for the Lance Stroll setup. There is no Primadonna's façade to admit that the car's balance upset him and there is nothing negative to state things as they are.

Fallows stated that they are trying to find a suitable balance for the car. They still have a lot of laps to complete, so let's hope they can find it.

The "Good Luck" had to do with, that he had so much traffic that it was hard to tell what the balance was like.

I think Fernando caught Zhou's yellow and aborted the rest of his first push lap on the softs. Then on the second push lap lost 0.2 in the first sector and didn't improve much in the last one, I guess the tyres were done.

Yep, taking the S1 from that yellow flag run and replacing the S1 from the next run, he would have ended up with a 1:18.291. That would have put him between Perez and Russell(5th).

IMHO, It means that they're being conservative and they're successful at maintaining low 1:25s for the whole stint. While others are trying to do mid to low 1:24s and seeing their pace drop off.

They did the same last race: Alonso on mediums driving to a delta and showing no deg, and Stroll on softs with a more "normal" stint.

Good read. It's interesting that he thinks the car had the DF just the car doesn't give the drivers confidence to push.
