“I thought it was bigger, but it wasn't that big. Enough for me to finish the session though,” said the Monegasque, with Ferrari later confirming that the Monegasque's bottom was safe.

That article is very positive about the weekend and both drivers seem pretty happy with the car.

Prepare for another disastrous qualifying session.

Both cars in Q3 would be a great success right now.

Agreed.

Also, i think Leclerc realized after Spain that the season was done. He seems he has given up.

Someone please tell me that Ferrari have not turned up the engines as much as the rest. This makes no sense otherwise

No, this season is done. This kind of in season development mess wasnt seen during binotto’s era.

Puzzling statements from the team this weekend!

Let’s see what the new technical director has to say post qualifying.

Yes, Barcelona, like always, showed how things stand currently. I really wish they would start doing winter testing there again

As far as LEC I agree but still being so far off the pace is not normal and his attitude isn’t really exemplary if that is indeed the reason behind his performance.

Bad excuse. He hasn't given up. He's just not driving well.

If he had given up, you wouldn't see the bouts of overdriving he's exhibited over the past 3 race weekends.

To me, his body language is quite clear. He just doesn't care anymore. He tries to push to overcome the issues of the car and that's it.

He is completely done. He thought he was going to fight for the WDC with the Spain upgrades, but the car became slower instead of faster which means the season was over.

7 years of his career completely wasted. Only 6 wins, which is embarrassing for a driver of his talent. A complete disaster

LEC loyalty to Ferrari is indeed incredible! I think even if they were to become a back marker team he would sign another 3 year deal, or perhaps he really thought Vasseur would turn things around who knows.

But still no excuse for a driver of his talent to perform poorly, usually drivers like him make bad cars look better, and currently he is making a bad car perform even worse! Granted he has been dragging a lot of slow Ferraris to wins and poles in the last 4 years so there is that..

Let’s wait until qualifying for final conclusions as to what the actual gap is to the top teams as the FP3 times don’t seem to make much sense. I mean look at where Perez and Sainz are relative to their team mates. I think the cooler conditions today swung the pendulum to favour certain teams more.

Would Charles have an extra set of softs available in qualifying as he did not use a set in fp2?

I am still confused by the tyre allocation rules

After workouts 1, 2 and 3, you will be required to return two sets of tires, even if you are not participating in the workout.

Quite funny how much the car gets upset on the kerb Leclerc went off on yesterday.
