Well Cardile said that suspension doesn't matter.

As I remember he said this on the question of tires, and that aero is more important. And that is not far from the truth, many teams have RB/Mclaren suspension but their pace is worse than Ferrari.

Vasseur explicitly said in his pre-race interview their plan is to conserve tires for most of the race, then make up positions at the very end. Except that's been their plan every week and it's only really worked once so

Pace looks good. Not rocketship level, but certainly competitive.

Ferrari told Leclerc to make some small changes in his lap and now they aren't giving much feedback, so whatever pace he's going at right now is the pace they want.
