Not to take anything away from Piastri but I have to wonder if Norris has some floor damage from the kerbs in T1 at the start, unless hes just managing the tyres and driving to a delta.

It didn't look like he could gap Mercedes, I will be surprised if he cruises past Hamilton. More likely that he will get stuck behind him and then undercut him.

Norris the only one not setting a fastest time, though told to cruise tge tyres in. As earlier stop than planned.

Very measured driving keeping pace, setting fastest laps and keeping his tyres alive.

Norris and Piastri are managing as this stint will need to be slightly longer. No point in risking anything.

They are playing it smart. Only way you lose this race is if you destroy your tires.

Focus on the team getting a 1-2.

Lando just seems off on pace. Maybe he is really managing the tyres, expecting to cover Max later. Or that change at the start left an issue more than known.

What are you expecting, NOR to gap Verstappen for 10-15 seconds in half a race?

His pace compared to VER is great, I think it just shows Piastri is running a perfect race so far.

Piastri just lost a lot of time overtaking Ocon.

Lando is pushing more now, but it might hurt his tyres. With Hamilton battling Max, he has breathing space to push and let his tyres cool if he has to.

Apparently PIA go off in T11 and the dirt affect the tyre for 3 laps.
