This forum contains threads to discuss teams themselves. Anything not technical about the cars, including restructuring, performances etc belongs here.
Max pissed with the strategy and the set ups of the car.
It should have been an easy P3 with an normal strategy and now it become hard work to hope to finish 3rd with that extended stints where you lose so much time.
The first stint was bad but I'm not sure if the 2nd and 3rd stints were actually that slow. Massively compromised strategy; RB seemed to behave as though they still have the ability to overtake any car on track easily, but with everyone similarly paced it's not that easy
WCC is fading as expected, WDC may be going the same way if they don't figure out the car soon
It's sad that he lets himself go like that. It's hurting his race, hurting RB, hurting himself as brand, his relation with the team, GP especially. And as GP said, it is childish.
Max seriously need to get his head sorted. It felt like we saw the Max from 2017. Such a pain to hear his radio. Red Bull had no choice but to take alternate strategy to find a chance to beat the McLarens and they rolled the dice, but the petulant child has no patience to understand the point of view despite racing for a decade. Two fast McLarens against one Red Bull, was always going to be a tough strategy job. But then he blew the podium by losing his head and colliding with Lewis. Very poor display.
Now tell me how he will perform the same with very little sleep... The guy was just cranky all the time, worst performance from Verstappen in like 2 or 3 years.
wdc would be quite safe if Max could get on the podium easily but even that seems to be difficult now, that's quite shocking
let's hope this was really a one off, and Max needs to calm down bit and settle himself for a campaign in which every point counts, those rants on the radio were not good, I'm a bit disappointed by him
