Piastri still made a crucial error driving off line to allow this mess in the first place. Such a controverial first win!!
Maybe the most controversial of all 1st wins

Stroll showed Norris how to do it. Was told to switch back, but just kept 10th instead :D
Stroll is champion material

Mclaren needs to understand drivers aren't robots, things you move on a table.
Max and Red Bull, things are going way south.

Decent job Hamilton and Leclerc.

Meh, I mean in the old days people got their first win when people in front of them crashed and died.

Maybe in the DtS era, sure.

Despite many claiming Hamilton was "driving the normal racing line" - no he wasn't. Nor was his deviation from the racing line "small". He drives from the outside of the track to very almost the inside of the track. He brakes in a straight line then brakes towards the inside of the corner after he sees Max coming

Where the f**k was Max going? Was clearly not the corner. You’re out of your league and arguing with this is insanity.

It would be exciting if Max doesn't get anymore wins but will be on podium most of the times to make this WDC another hard fought one and interesting season ending. :D
12 races done, 12 to go.
The gap b/w Max and Norris in WDC is 84 points = 12 x (25 - 18).
So if Norris wins every race from now and Max finishes 2nd in all of them, still it will be equal points. Throw in fastest laps and sprint races, and this has potential to be DejaVu circa 2021 - Brit hero-darling v/s Dutch villain :D
That BS would be annoying as hell. But as the majority of F1 press is English, it's unavoidable if the contest gets too close. What are the odds of Oscar having a miraculous run of form from here, winning all 12 races?
Oh boy! It has started.

Max made a kamikaze and Hamilton was turning into the corner, not trying to do him dirty as max always does. The overhead shot makes it very clear.

Of course team delusions think he was turning in on him.
Meanwhile back on planet Earth, it's quite obvious how hamilton steered into his back right tyre.

As long as he's alongside on the inside at the apex it's allowed by the FIA rules

Max was penalized at Austria for moving on the brakes despite Norris divebombing from way back. Don't see a huge degree of difference except Norris was on the outside (commanding less right to space)

Lewis steering to the right on the brakes means that Max applies steering lock, which reduces the grip available for braking hence he wasn't able to slow down as much and the lockup

Max was not in control of his car, thats all that needs to be said about this incident.

Does the Max V fan club make a strategic call to go spam other forums? Mods here could have gotten this under control years ago, but that would hurt site traffic so here we are.

He brakes in time to make the corner if Lewis doesn't move on the brakes

You can’t just sail pass someone braking / turning for the corner and say “see I was ahead”. It’s an extremely illogical take.
