Despite many claiming Hamilton was "driving the normal racing line" - no he wasn't. Nor was his deviation from the racing line "small". He drives from the outside of the track to very almost the inside of the track. He brakes in a straight line then brakes towards the inside of the corner after he sees Max coming

It would be exciting if Max doesn't get anymore wins but will be on podium most of the times to make this WDC another hard fought one and interesting season ending.

The gap b/w Max and Norris in WDC is 84 points = 12 x (25 - 18).
So if Norris wins every race from now and Max finishes 2nd in all of them, still it will be equal points. Throw in fastest laps and sprint races, and this has potential to be DejaVu circa 2021 - Brit hero-darling v/s Dutch villain

Max made a kamikaze and Hamilton was turning into the corner, not trying to do him dirty as max always does. The overhead shot makes it very clear.

Of course team delusions think he was turning in on him.

As long as he's alongside on the inside at the apex it's allowed by the FIA rules

Max was penalized at Austria for moving on the brakes despite Norris divebombing from way back. Don't see a huge degree of difference except Norris was on the outside (commanding less right to space)

Lewis steering to the right on the brakes means that Max applies steering lock, which reduces the grip available for braking hence he wasn't able to slow down as much and the lockup

You can’t just sail pass someone braking / turning for the corner and say “see I was ahead”. It’s an extremely illogical take.
