I thought that because they lost a brand new engine (in Canada?) that they very likely needed two extra new engines this season.
Sure but I think they can still do well at Spa and Monza without penalty. So for me, I'd think they'd at least try and not lose too many points if they can help it.
With current performance, Max might struggle to make it into the top 6-7 from the back of the grid without SC intervention.
