I think Max will take pole, he’ll have that 3/4 second advantage that we saw in FP1. McLaren should show a strong hand though

I really doubt that Max will have that kind of advantage. I expect 1-2 for McLaren in qualy and race.

Quite strange session. It looks like Norris was no where near comfortable with the setup, it is probably too low downforce for these conditions.

Also I don't think the team is helping with constant "rain in 2 minutes", "rain falling stronger" messages to the guys. I'm sure they held little bit back due to that.

More operational mistakes as usual from McLaren.

So I guess the setup for the dry tomorrow was perhaps a step too far for the wet quali, right choice we should go forward tomorrow but closer to verstappen than I expected and unexpectedly is that perez is ahead of us... tomorrow will be intresting.

Using 2 inters in session 1 hurt us but I didn't think they had the pace for front row with this DF level anyways. Never mind, still expecting 1-2 tomorrow

Same McLaren strategy to fuel the cars for 7 laps and to stay on track. Maybe with a ligjter car at first attempt the results would have been better.
Anyway, considering how we moved through Q1 and Q2...P4 and P5 for tomorrow, with a car set up for dry, things look good. Let's gooo

Yes, but I would to believe that both our drivers are that good. At least Norris, with more experience in wet conditions. The track was not that worse. Anyway, maybe we chose to go with a more dry set up. We will see tomorrow

I think they pushed on wrong parts of the qualifying afraid of rain threats that didn't really materialized. It's not the first time.

If tomorrow is dry I expect boys to be really fast.

I think Mercedes and Ferrari splitted the setup. We didn't. RB they will try to use Perez to block all of us but this huge RW will destroy him. We need to clear them really fast

I think form perfect weather (dry and maybe P1 and P2) and worst (heavy rain and maybe P17 and P18) this session was better than we expected and inter tyers coverded in a certain way McLaren setup. I am happy with the result.
