This forum contains threads to discuss teams themselves. Anything not technical about the cars, including restructuring, performances etc belongs here.
Lando didn’t keep 2 mediums like Charles did, I need the people here who have faith in our strategy team to give me a good reason for this. That was a great advantage
Despite the resurfaced track, deg was high in FP. Teams believe M-H-H could be best option for tomorrow but it is weather dependent.
Agreed. And also considering the completely rainy sessions on Saturday, which washed away the grip. All this will also add to the wear of the tires.
McLaren can win this if executed well. They made a dry setup and stuck to it. Still, I expect it will be very close with Max.
The RB20 is still the class of the field in very high speed. McLaren can win most races but Spa, Austin and Qatar I give it to Max right now on the spot.
Possibly. Lando said on Friday evening that they would add downforce. So I feel they've done something,, even if it is small.
But, where do you get the in session pictures from as I can never find them?
Re:Max. RB broke curfew and refused to say why, on Friday night. The paddock wide belief is that they took out the new engine to save it for Monza as the current engine is still alright.
Even so, the RB will be fast and has to be in with a shout of the win. Same as Merc.
It's another hard fight between 3 teams. Strategy will play a key role and I'm sure the team will have a clear and clever idea of how to manage the race.
I didn't see what they ran in Q but it's apparently the same as FP2. It's only the wing settings that are likely to have changed if they did, aside from any other chassis settings.
It is unlikely they didn't make setup changes from Friday to Saturday.
Mclaren has taken a gamble. Sacrifice Qualifying to have the best dry settings for race. I hope today they will start cleaning the field and get to 1-2 in a few laps. On the other hand I am terrified about Perez trying to create a DRS train.
Yes Max is on fire here. Only hope for a win would be to get track position early on and hope Max gets stuck somewhere with the higher downforce they're running.
