Think this is the first time that when the chips are really down at the end of the race for the lead, George didn't bin it. That man did insane things with the tyres today.
I’m not sure he did. It was obvious that the tyre had insane life, as everyone could drop the management early in the stints, and it was almost impossible to pass with the shorter DRS zone. It was a good call, but a lot of luck involved. A strange race.
Yeah I do think it was a race where everyone was chasing each other on strategy instead of chasing the ultimate race time

No worries, Hamilton beat him comprehensively last year. And he's still ahead this year?

Education is that which allows a nation free, independent, reputable life, and function as a high society; or it condemns it to captivity and poverty.

😂

In terms of race pace, Lewis was way ahead. GR was nowhere, hence the Hail Mary. It was purely an inspired strategy call that won this, with various factors aiding that call, like the drs, temps, and everyone stuck
Worth mentioning Lewis had more downforce

And next year, Piastri will lead McLaren’s title charge I’m sure.

Two Ferrari related questions:
1 - Why didn't Sainz stay out just like Russel (extending the stint on Hard tires and concluding on Medium)?
2 - What happened to Leclerc in the last stint? He was holding a constant 2s gap to Hamilton for 3/4 of the race...

Piastri and Hamilton talking about how it's extremely hard it was to overtake once you got into dirty air

Well done to George on making that work.

Oscar drove well too

Red Bull I think would take that ahead of Lando

For the 2 i am puzzled also... I thought he was saving tyres but this wasn't the case.
