Merc winning 3 races and still 56 pts behind Ferrari, just shows how far behind they were at the beginning of the season.

And next year, Piastri will lead McLaren’s title charge I’m sure.
Not sure I rate either. Norris makes mistakes wherever he goes unfortunately.

Meanwhile with a 10place grid penalty, Ver gets 2pts on Nor ...
Yep. All thanks to Lando messing up at the start.

Norris made a hash of 1st corner and compromised his entire race.

Yeah. And hate to kick a man whe he's down but Perez effectively started on pole and finished at the tail of the leading pack. Improvement? i think not!! He was better off just trundling behind saving the engine.

On another note. Mercedes won today with the third fastest car. Track position was what mattered today. Strange to say this about Spa!! These ground effect cars are great at following into corners but suck at slip-streaming.

Well, but overall the top 3 teams are all within 2 tenths average now in race pace, Mercedes, McLaren and Red Bull.
I think we shouldn't expect Max to win anymore by 20 seconds, every race will be won with maybe 5 seconds at most.

Ham is probably pissed that Russell cherry picked him from out of no where. He did all the hard work calling the team strats, forcing the other teams calls, and covering off the leclerc who turned into a dud. I bet that he spent 5 to 10 laps nursing his tyres, expecting Russell to pit but was blindsided by the improvisation.

I think we shouldn't expect Max to win at all anytime soon. Maybe he will at his home gp, but when was the last time he went 5 races without a win. It is also the second race in a row with no Red Bull on the podium. They just do not have the pace at to win.

Aye. For once you could lean on the tyres, Hamilton didn’t go hard enough.

They don’t have the pace to win yet they got pole by 0,6 seconds! And it wasn’t about the rain…

I wouldn’t say the car is the problem! Neither is Max obviously! It has to do with more and proper competition at last showing up and pushing them more…
