it's two years in a row they've created a good baseline car for start of the season. last year was exagerrated due to mercedes mclaren and ferarri not performing well.

Yeah, wouldn't be surprised if they put forward a positive face to remove some of the external pressure. Not that I think they're doing that.
carlos miquel: newey between aston, williams or retirement. ferrari is out. if he continues aston is more likely - in that case will be alongside Alonso in 2026 (for some reason this needs to be said)
Nothing new really but it follows the general trend of the last few weeks which is a good thing I guess.
Williams would be a huge surprise. They're probably at least 2 years away from being organised enough to start thinking about building a car just to compete in the top 10 regularly.
The AM project has familiar faces, great facilities coming together, a works Honda deal and Fernando Alonso, who WILL win races.
What could Williams possibly offer? Part ownership is only worth anything if you can sell it. And AM can offer shares anyway. Probably in both the team and road going.
Also I think they can spread Newey over to the WEC project as well as road cars as side projects to keep him from getting bored. Williams can't quite offer that.

the mighty mercedes failed with their upgrades for 2 years, until they didnt. but yeah i feel you
