Haha Norris mocked Max on the victory lap. "huh, simply lovely" he said. Im a Max fan but it's good to see Lando get cocky after everyone wrote him off over the summer break. Piastri was everyone's golden boy over the summer break

Nice drive Lando. Controlled the race very well. Do think it was his to lose after quali but still put it together well.

Hamilton finishing right behind George after starting 10 places back is embarrassing.
Russell finished ahead of Hamilton in a race that he started behind him in. Thats embarrassing.

Anyway , Russell clock's another qualifying and race finish head to head on hamilton
Remaining Merc races demosn't matter. Hamilton is menyally clocked out from Merc and will be making millions at Ferrari next year.

Wasn't good considering he lost out at the start on a track that track position matters so much on. Are you forgetting how he could well have lost the race there and then if not for their domineering advantage?

You and a few others were the ones getting giddy about the futile possibility of Hamilton passing Russell. And were also saying that Russells finish was embarrassing. But all of a sudden , it doesn't matter. Ha.

Lewis' pace was much much stronger and has been for many races in a row now. Unless you're betting on hi missing Q3 every race till the end of the year he will surely do his usual thing of monstering the second half of the season, just as he has for over a decade at this point.

Sure, McLaren (and Norris) will look to improve their start processes.

Regardless it has still been a superb masterclass from Norris and McLaren. A fantastic race car, fantasically driven. =D>

Yes. Just a gust of wind put him off in Q3. He was faster than George today and it's looling good for rest of year. George actually is ruing today's result. Hamilton was in P14 and Russ in P3 at different points to only get A couple points on him in the drivers? Not good to beaten by a forty year old in any sport!

Piastri fell behind George at the start. It's the car. Not the driver. The Mclaren is bad off the line.

Lando got the pole , the win and the fastest lap hattrick. And you are saying this wasn't very good

There is a big gap between the top 4 teams. So whether it's a Mercedes, a Ferrari, a Red Bull or a McLaren, whichever missed out Q3, would surely make it into top 8. That's not a big deal.

Botched the start I will give you and probably lucky McLaren have such an advantage still overtook max on the track which he hasn't always done well. And I think is being smart about thing too after losing out on the start didn't cook his tyres trying to keep up or overtake Max - like if did a few races before the mid season break poor choice of tyres attempting to match Hamilton iitc? Then was pretty much burnt them on the outlap.

No doubt the starts could cost him if things were more even but all thing considered I think he did well - probably accept mind you it was his to lose.

Russell isn't being beat by any 40 year old. Not in this race , not in head to head qualifying or race placement. Not in head to head qualifying or race speed.
