This forum contains threads to discuss teams themselves. Anything not technical about the cars, including restructuring, performances etc belongs here.
The target is for Norris to get pole and get the upper hand and then have as many cars between him and Verstappen. It's a golden opportunity for him to get one more win while Verstappen struggles like in Spa.
If, if, if ferrari, mclaren and merc are all potentially wedging themselves in front of redbull then it opens the door to a big points difference IF lando could fight his way to a win.
I don’t predict a competitive race for McLaren here. Not a good track for this car and Ferrari has taken a step.
A lot of variables, but it’s looking more like Ferrari vs RedBull for the race, however I admit it’s really hard to read McLaren because they have run with mixed setups and the longruns were not consistent.

I'd be very surprised if you were right on this. Of course it's just an opinion but still.
I think mclaren have alot more to show and whilst it will be a closer qualy and race you have to feel that come the chequered flag at least Lando will be very close if not oscar too.
I'm certain we will take a step forwards tomorrow.
It just the sense of uncertainty which we haven’t had the last couple of races. They usually have bigger signs that they will be competitive.
Max had a really strong stint on the mediums and he was quite consistent. Leclerc was the same until a sudden dropoff where both Ferraris were recorded to go into one of the lower PU settings. And they had equivalent pace on 5 lap older tires.
Let’s see how it pans out, it was just a prediction anyway. I just didn’t get a good feeling from the practice session.
Max was complaining about his tires toward the end of his stint just like everyone else. Monza testing times are also volatile because of the power (and unreliability) of tows
Team summary sounds like they are quite unsure but also leaving opportunities for improvement. Quite different from the bullish tone of the last few races. Sounds like this tarmac is going to be a big unknown into Sunday
The power unit was not turned up from what I could tell. They were clipping towards the end of the straights, but even accounting for that, it just didn’t seem as “comfortable” as the last couple of races.
They seem to be a little bit cautious in their statements as well since it’s not certain when 4 teams are so close with each other.
I would agree with Lando here, he wasn’t having a great day. Actually Oscar was simply struggling with parabolica. If you remove that, he seemed a good 1 or 2 tenths quicker which around this track is quite a bit.
Edit: On his fastest lap, he made a mistake at Ascari actually, but on FP1 and first runs in FP2 he seemed to struggle with parabolica
