Will both Mercedes drivers drive the third practice with the new floor tomorrow?

Most likely, Lewis didnt have any balance issues with it and said the car felt really good and Russell said he thinks the new floor is working as expected and confident that they will run both cars tomorrow with it

Yes. I think so too.
Seems like ferrari and Mercedes are gonna challenge mclaren this weekend.

Does anyone know if Mercedes were running a higher df setup than the rest? They weren't very high up in the top speed list.
Tough to say, looks quite big in comparison.

The angle of attack on the Mercedes looks more extreme than the other teams. RBR very similar. Mercedes were quick in S2 and S3...

Well this bodes well for Mercedes then, if they have a higher df setting...and still matching ferrari in vmax. Interesting qualifying tomorrow

Yeah I know Antonelli crashed but that was exactly what Verstapen was doing when he entered f1!

He’s quite fast! He has a ton of natural speed…he was instantly up to speed with a car he had never driven before! That says a lot…

There will be more rubber down tomorrow, and it will be at a different time of day. There may be differences, but I think after George was DSQ'd on weight if it is "scraping the road" they will raise the ride height to err on the safe side.
When arguing with a fool, be sure the other person is not doing the same thing.

Or George can eat more steaks...

Disagree, Verstappen was crashing into others because he had no respect(still has very little) or brains(this one he learned), he wasn't crashing by randomly losing control of the car.

Which is why Max starts his F1 career in a Toro instead of replacing Vettel in RBR. Or Bearman in Haas.
Toto may be dreaming to become a Ron Dennis introducing his own prodigy to the world.
Fast is relative and the first 10 mins in FP1 is not a good indication, beside he started with soft tires vs most other team in medium.

It's really ridiculous to criticize or write down a rookie for making a rookie mistake. Seems like people have forgotten what it's like to introduce new drivers to F1 and that should be allowed to make some mistakes. Comparing to previous rookies is naive. Next FP1, he should do better and I don't mind him crashing again. Neither Mercedes driver is currently in contention for WDC and neither is Mercedes a WCC contender. Safe situation to let him make mistakes. If he is their driver for next year, let him get some real opportunities to drive the current car and get a taste of it's behaviour.

I agree in principle with your point but the circumstances surrounding Kimi (hype as a prodigy, replacing 7x wc Lewis) does lend itself to heightened scrutiny. Not completely unwarranted imo.
