Very strange indeed
It would be wiser to wait for Q3PlatinumZealot wrote: ↑31 Aug 2024, 13:27Told you guys the free hand of Pierre Wache is a rubbish one! I was called out as chatting crap about his foolish looking rear wing.
Rear wing is working fine it seems. Verstappen fastest in sector 3 which is Ascari and the long back straight followed by Parabolica and the straight to the finish line. So surely df/drag tradeoff must be pretty good.PlatinumZealot wrote: ↑31 Aug 2024, 13:27Told you guys the free hand of Pierre Wache is a rubbish one! The RB20 in this chop-shop rear and front wings avatar, looks undriveable. In one stint it looks too understeery, then they adjust something and it looks oversteery after. They can't find the balance and I think the reason for these midfielder-team style chop-shop wings is the the amount of money burned by Perez via crashes. The way the RB20 has fallen from grace, is similar to what happened to AMR23 last year after the first 4-5 races.ME4ME wrote: ↑31 Aug 2024, 13:40Rear wing is working fine it seems. He is complaining about understeer low-medium speed, the usual problem for Red Bull. This is just the car being funky at the front-end rather than there being something wrong with the rear wing.
Rear wing is working fine? And what does that count for? Aerodynamics is about the whole car.ME4ME wrote: ↑31 Aug 2024, 13:40Rear wing is working fine it seems. Are you sure McLaren has this thing? Is this thing even a thing?

They made a setup change between Friday and Saturday. On Friday it was the left front that was the problem. Today it was the left rear that was the problem according to Ver.search wrote: ↑31 Aug 2024, 14:48some cars did a long run in FP3, all starting on 7-lap old tires:

Russell was obviously on lower fuel, but looks like degredation is more of an issue for Red Bull.
