I would bet on a Leclerc/Norris win.

Is 2021 the outlier? What a despicable race

I got that stat from X, but I think the races removed are

  2. HAM: 2021
  3. RUS: 2019, 2021
The most baffling part to me is, perhaps obviously, Perez's "King of the Streets" thing... imagine the scenes if he somehow returned to form at this race?

It was Daniel who proclaimed himself king of the streets with absolutelty nothing to back that up. Seems Perez earned that title... But not so sure if he has held onto it!

Sergio is king of the streets by virtue of just being 'decent' at street tracks as opposed to underwhelming at regular circuits :D

Are Mercedes and Red Bull using low or medium downforce rear wings?

Mercedes seems to be better on front-limited tracks, though.
Mercedes have unreal front end. That's why Hamilton has been struggling so much with these cars, but does relatively well in races, because you they are never pushing to the limit there, and he gets more comfy with the rear end..
I'm really curious to see how would Max do in modern Mercedes. All points out that he would shine in their car. For sure it would suit him a lot better than the new Red bulls.

Both were used in Spa and we can probably consider both as low load wings. Monza wings are another level of low basically. Ferrari is also using same low load wing like Spa, while McLaren fitted medium-low they used in Jeddah, Miami, Imola, etc. No idea why they've gone so big, it's more likely just a test

And they call it a stall. A STALL!

Wow, I never noticed the odd shape of the Ferrari wing. It's like the opposite of a spoon shaped upper element. The upper element seems to get taller (or thicker?) towards the middle, almost like the F2 wings, just more subtle.

Apart from that, Ferrari seems to be running a barn door compared to the others, especially with those (presumably) draggy tips. Have they just decided that they want to dominate sector 1 and 2 and accepted that they will be a sitting duck on the straights, or do you think they will change wings?

Turning the tyres on will be a huge deal in Qualifying. Keeping them in the zone for the race will also be very diffifult.
