What a shame... let's see if they can fix this quickly.

Doubt it. Either they didn't fix the damaged suspension or they mounted a new one in a wrong way.

Ferrari themselves said earlier the damage after FP1 wasn't large. How did this happen? They repaired it wrong?

I'm going to give the team the benefit of the doubt, maybe it's just a small mistake somewhere, or a completely different problem that wasn't seen before, but the reduced practice time will hurt...

According to sky they are changing the "steering box"?

Hopefully they that is the issue and not something chassis related.

They didn't fix the car correctly for FP2.
And it's Leclerc's garage again, this is like 4-5th garage-related issue this season already... Sainz is doing really well right now though
And they call it a stall. A STALL!

Pure disasterclass

Thankfully it seems the steering box was the issue, which is fixed now.

Max and Mclaren sandbagging hard, seems we are traded off low speed corners for straights

[Edit] Deleted the picture since it seems the long run times are wrong. Can someone share an accurate one please?

Today's sessions have been chaotic, both for Ferrari and in general. Really hope Leclerc can get a full hour of uninterrupted running in FP3 to tighten the setup.

Things seem extremely close for Saturday, even if we count Norris/Verstappen sandbagging. Front row might just come down to who's comfortable in the car and who's not.

Don't understand why he didn't go for the escape route... He didn't expect that lock up, strange
He said on the radio he opened the corner too much and got dirt on the tyres. I guess once he didn't have the grip he expected it was too late. I think the lock up was just a reaction to slow the car as much before contact.

Obviously not a huge sample size, but Piastri is looking ridiculously quick compared to Sainz for some reason.

I was watching Leclerc on board but Sainz seemed like he was stuck in a train behind Tsunoda and Max. Might have slowed his lap times.

Looks fairly competitive. Knowing Red Bull they are probably on high fuel but its going to be tight.

You're correct, just checked and for the last 11 minutes Sainz was behind Tsunoda and Verstappen. I also removed the picture because I realized the excluded lap times were incorrect so not representative. The difference isn't as big as I thought it was.

I'm curious and a little scared as to how much McLaren will improve when they nail the setup tomorrow, like they always do. I have faith our drivers can put it on the front row though, despite the myriad of issues today and run off pirouettes...
