Would he have made the mistake without the yellow? is a waste of time. He might of been distracted, who knows. But it wasn't a problem today.
People not seem to get it. It's not the yellow. The yellow was badluck. What isn't badluck is how many times Norris fumbled a critical qualifying lap, a race start or races in general. Let's not kid ourselves. Piastri will demolish him if he keeps improving like that next year. He already fixed his race pace. I remember some years back Norris gave an ultimatum to the team to give a fast car cause he won't be waiting forever. Now that he has a fast car what is he doing? Lewis Hamilton got the same wins as Norris with the 4th best car and he is our last Mclaren champion.
Look at the mini sectors, he was accelerating as normal, the mistake would have been at most 0.5-1 tenth and he still would have been through without the yellow.
How many mistakes has Piastri made during races where he cooks tires
