Marko says Verstappen's turn 16 mistake cost him 6 tenths at least (= P2), and confidence for the 2nd run. Tomorrow he expects a podium, and the 2nd set of hards only to come in play in case of a safety car.

You give Leclerc a fast car and he simply delivers!

Embarrassing day for both title contenders today…
Is Leclerc a title contender now?
He’s like 90pts behind or something. Absolutely no chance. Would need Max to fall off a cliff, which he and RB won’t do. It’s all false hope, looking for an interesting title fight, because Lando has bottled it.

Norris backed out by himself. Mistaken the green board for yellow it would appear.
Mess with the Bull - you get the horns.

This - Too late for Leclerc to mount a serious challenge. Unless Red Bull end up Saubering themselves between now and Abu Dhabi, cannot see anybody other than Max winning it. If anything, the fight for P2 in the drivers standings becomes the main talking point, with the Constructors battle still pretty close… Ferrari could very well be in the mix for that if this run of form continues and they take points off Red Bull and McLaren.

Colapinto exposing Albon now he doesn't have Sargent to make him look good.
Tbf, Albon's last lap must have been massively compromised due to the airbox
he didn't even get to set a lap on new tires. Didn't make it over the line in time.
They were close whole Qualifying.
I'm tired of people praising Albon whenever he scores points comparing him to Sargeant and Latifi like he wasn't consistently half a second behind Max in RB.

Karum just showed that the yellownflag was axtually gone by the time he got to it.

Seems it was just a terrible, painful mistake and misunderstanding with massive consequences

Why did Williams endured with Sargeant for so long? This new kid Colapinto is showing it was a big mistake.

If I am Haas, I would just have Bearman drive for the rest of the year, instead of that pathetic driver KMag.
Hmm makes me think if a lot of these old drivers were getting a bit too comfortable!

As a team principal it's might be a good idea to have the young driver get like races in at the expense of the lower placed full time driver?!

Could make sense...

the F1TV onboards aren't super clear, but to me it looked like the board was changing color & frequency

Norris is foolish. Never back out until you reach the light. Reason why they light up the onese ahead of the accident.

He odne cost him self the chance to fight for the championship now. Just give it to Max already.

Nonsense. 3.5 tenths at most

Even a 25-0 won’t get him anywhere near Mad! So no…

Hulkenberg and Albon were beaten just like that.
Albon has a bit of an excuse but still Colapinto was ahead in Q2 and did deliver the 2 fastest laps by a Williams.

Maybe it's time to move on from the old guard, a series of guys who got promoted but weren't that good(Mick, Zhou, Mazepin and Logan all got in due to "market value") convinced team bosses that it was better to keep going with old hands like K-mag, Hulk and even Bottas.

Nonsense. 3.5 tenths at most
his sector 3 was 0.576s slower than in Q2, so although deployment, tire management, slipstream etc plays a part as well, 6 tenths doesn't sound too unreasonable.
