these has always been max weakest track.the irony is these is supposed to be a driver's track.max just don't do street track right ,mexico is the exception.
Hermanos Rodriguez is not a street circuit, don't let the Go-Kart like redesign of the epic Peraltada corner fool you.
a bit too much copium from Marko, as usual lately; podium will be impossible tomorrow, P4/P5 best to aim for but real target is to finish ahead of Lando and keep the gap with one race lessVettel165 wrote: ↑14 Sep 2024, 15:17We have the pace...
Marko says Verstappen's turn 16 mistake cost him 6 tenths at least (= P2), and confidence for the 2nd run. Tomorrow he expects a podium, and the 2nd set of hards only to come in play in case of a safety car.
But still very sad, if Max was third or second I would take it easily. But this second part of the season is just bad for us. We need to stay ahead od Lando.
Either the pressure of having McLaren, Ferrari and Mercedes in the mix for wins has gotten to him or the RB20 isn't complying with the demands Max is putting on it. Perez always goes well here, it's a bit of a weak track for Max. But that doesn't explain why the RB20 looks like an also ran at the moment in qualifying. The race could well be a different story.
Nothing is impossible. But the race has to be perfect.Sergej wrote: ↑14 Sep 2024, 15:22a bit too much copium from Marko, as usual lately; podium will be impossible tomorrow, P4/P5 best to aim for but real target is to finish ahead of Lando and keep the gap with one race lessVettel165 wrote: ↑14 Sep 2024, 15:17We have the pace...

I don’t think it’s as bad as it looks. They changed Max’s car. It’s quick in S3 now. I think they can get on to the podium. You have Russell, Sainz, and Piastri ahead. I think Russell and Sainz might be in Max’s race.
you also have Perez, not sure they will get him out of the way, not even sure he will be slower than Max actually
