Stroll is a mediocre driver. Not bad, but nothing to sing about either.

And before anyone replies that he's been ahead of Alonso in some races... Well, every time that could have happened, it's been due to singular circumstances that kept Alonso from having a normal race.

It's strange that there's still people having doubts about the huge difference between them.

Think the team did a really good job too. In quali, It took a while for the track to evolve to a point that the setup worked. So they setup the cat knowing what the grip levels would be and they stuck to their plan.

Listen, keeping up with Albon on new tyres is all Alonso's skill

Verstappen under investigation for a VSC infringement. Maybe we take an extra place.

100% Stroll fault on that one… He did not even have a wheel next to him on braking…
I mean they just touched...not much of a collision 💥.

My complaint is RBRVisa was slower than molasses in January down the straight...why fight them there? Why not just make yourself wide and get them down the straight?

It's one of those things of not knowing where to fight.

Exactly… He was too eager…

That little improvement in the rear seems to have given the car more grip, the pace was definitely better than the last few weekends and tire wear too . Could it be the Newey effect?

Strategy team did a good job today. They were right to cover colapinto compared to Hungary where there was no need to cover anyone.

Anyways next month for the upgrades so we’ll see what happens

So basically the whole of mclarens car is flexing after today evidence of the rear wing flexing. Still bitter how quickly they banned it last year and allow it to happen this year

Look how much the mclaren's rear wing flex in high speed too. Front wing can be flexible? ohh OK now we have the rear wing flexible. Has anyone ever seen this

Incredibly smart from McLaren. 2025 will be a very interesting season as all the team will take inspiration from others.

I hope that our last upgrade from Austin will help the team get a little closer to the top 4 and mark a statement from the rest of the grid as 5th team.

Today the team worked well. And Fernando looks like a computer during the race, trying to make something useful out of nothing.

The car seems to have somewhat better traction although other people's disasters have also helped us. The race pace is still quite bad, although Fernando knows how to "optimize" it by first controlling the car behind and then doing 38,000 mental simulations per minute to try to stay as high as possible.

The news regarding the team are excellent, thank you very much Mr. Stroll.

A shame that we are late to stand out this year. Although I hope for some joy in the form of an almost podium before finishing...
