Exactly. It is a wing that was used in 3 races this year (Spa, Monza and Baku). In only one it resulted in a win and even that was due to sheer brilliance of Piastri and underestimation by Leclerc. If he defended Piastri probably wouldn't win.
But it is very enjoyable to see all fans of other teams throwing a tantrum.
Oscar should have won all of those races
Just to briefly touch on the flexi rear wing/ rival fan axis, if you glance at the fans who are whinging the most are relatively young people, who have no doubt witnessed Hamilton/ Mercedes and Verstappen/ Red Bull win in dominant cars (barring ‘21) now that these same younger fans have only ever known Mclaren to be a midfield team at best now seem to think that McLaren can only challenge and win races by cheating, yet said fans have never witnessed McLaren dominate the sport in the past and lack the mental capacity to research when they did so and also lack the capacity to understand what McLaren have done over the last 5 seasons or so behind the senses to propel them into this winning position.
