last year Leclerc started on softs, and Magnussen did quite a strong ~20 lap stint in the end to move up into the points. 10 laps shouldn't be a problem, I guess.

I am scratching my head to try to remember seeing anything close to this level of poverty in terms of 'tyres for race' available before qualifying.

Have they all decided to do 1-stop by default ? what if there is a safety car, which is very very likely ? Is the S a race tyre, for atleast 10 laps ?
Singapore has biggest? (or second biggest) pit loss in the calendar, about 28-29 seconds. In addition it is a track where it is hard to overtake. In previous years it would be a definite one stopper.

Only way this changes in 2024 is if the new DRS zone helps a lot with overtaking. Teams definitely evaluated this. I doubt it will make up for 29 seconds but we will see.

Interesting. Whats the possible outcomes of that?
Seeing how FIA react to clear violations this year, they are gonna turn a blind eye and allow the team to run an illegal car until at least 3 other teams complain vigorously
And they call it a stall. A STALL!

Difference is one of them is controversial, grey zone etc, the other one is clearly against the rule. If you dont understand stop watching Formula 1. Thanks!

All the cheating Redbull have done, including going over budget.

It’s rather amusing to see their fans going ballistic about a small McLaren innovation that passed all the tests.

Even more so that it’s not even on the car today, yet the McLaren has an even bigger gap.

If your classing Red Bull's flexi wings as 'cheating' - are you admitting that McLaren have been 'cheating' for the races where there was a gap appearing in the DRS flap at the races this year?

Marko just said that they did a couple of changes, and hope for them to work out better than last time. Red Bull's pace on mediums was good, but on a 10°C cooler track now they risk to miss the window of the tires. 2nd or 3rd row would be a good result.

About Norris' performance from FP3, he said that there's no way they could set a lap like that, as he was attacking the kerbs in a way just not possible with the Red Bull.

I’m glad Russell is calling out Pirelli. These tyres are a joke

Russell calling out these crap tyres again lol gotta love it. I respect that compared to these other drivers keeping quiet.

Hamilton quicker and seemingly liking his tyres. Strange.
