Nobody is negligent enough to choose this strategy with good intentions.

No need to insinuate, I would be blatant about it.

Lewis deserves to be ridiculed for his softs decision btw. All that experience and makes dumb decisions like that lol embarrasing tbh
“And that’s part of the game, is being able to be adaptive, and we’ve got this new car – I don’t know how it’s going to handle, hopefully she’s great.”

Horrible race. Pretty awful championship fight too, if Max & Lando aren’t even close.

I imagine his team had the overall say and also gave him justifications for the move.

Whoever made the choice to start on used softs at a 1-stop race should be sacked for gross misconduct.

He definitely cant blame the team because all he had to do is say "I want to start on the mediums like George" starting tyres are always a two way conversation. He could've also said "Its too early to pit let stay out". Reminds me of when he was the only car on the Softs in Qatar then moaned on the formation lap when he agreed to it.

If the team you trust tells you to do something, with all the data and specialists then you go with it.

Hamilton should have said no. But he believes in the people around him.

Why don't we see any safety car? Cars more balanced so less sliding off? Or are drivers a bit dull not taking any risk?

Tyres made of cheese that you have to manage all race probably mean they are pushing a lot less. Maybe.

Cars are very reliable. SL system means driving standards are pretty high.
