Gianpiero: "Your old mate Daniel got fastest lap at the end there".

Max: "Thank You Daniel".

They're not even hiding it at this point

Never been a fan of the fastest lap point but today it really stinks, especially when a satellite team is the one being played with. Since they are insistant of keeping the rule, at least make it count only for the fastest lap among the top 10 drivers or something like that. Seems wrong that a driver that has nothing to do with the fight is able to impact the points handed out in the end.
Agreed. Red Bull might deny it, but if Max wins it by a point it will be because of this.
Totally wrong

Lando didn’t look overly joyed when DC poured water on him…

Could have used Perez to do it. 1 point in the WCC aint making a huge difference to RBR now.
Perez would have lost 10th and been pushed into the squabble for 15-17th with no clear track.
Just hold him in the box for clear air. No biggie. Merc did the same with bottas in Mexico 2021
Why take the risk when you can just call your sister team to steal the point off your rival?

Poor race! Not because McLaren dominated. There was no SC or even a yellow flag. :D

I said they could have used Perez instead of Danny in response to a earlier poster.

it always that max wins because of someone else, be it masi, newey, hamilton f*ckup in baku or ricciardo and his fastest lap.
yeah, right, never because he is and has been for quite a while the outright best driver on the grid.

it's nothing compared to the fact that one orange team was allowed to run an illegal car for a while.

Again, I highly doubt Redbull had anything to do with Daniels fastest lap. Why this race and no other race before?
I like to think the team just wanted Daniels carreer to end on a high.

And I answered.
Let VCARB take the risk in the pits. Safety car gets called and that whole idea gets toasted.
So you use your sister team to steal points of Max's championship rival.
RB can PR their way out of it saying it was a parting gift to Ric.
Properly wrong.

How is finishing almost last and taking a fake fastest lap ending on a high? Of course RB pulled this one.

If it really is Ricciardo's final race, he at least finishes things off with some kind of stupid award now.
I hope he's happy with his reward since he literally exits as a Red Bull B team puppet. He's probably still sore from McLaren firing him for not showing... literately anything on track. These kind's of tactics ain't gonna save Max... nor Red Bull. It's just plain unsportsmanlike and distastefull.

Magnusson did it anyhow, but lost it to track limits.

Conspiracy over.
