   I love this!

On another note, does it look like Horner and Marko were each other's throat a few months back?

Marko has some questionable attitudes, but he's no fool. I don't think he wanted to be anyone's useful tool in a case of disturbingly false accusation and subsequent team demolition
And they call it a stall. A STALL!

McLaren deserve the WCC. Better car -> Wins.

Good year for the technical team to go back and figure out where they made errors. 2025 will be better (hopefully).

At the end of the day, McL have space and money to promote everyone from RB they have hired. No one has left RB for clearly roles that are at a similar level.
Also not sacking Perez was a disaster -- well everyone except Horner knew it (bro even extended him like WHY?) Hope Max gets his well deserved title this year and the team can do something over the winter.

Back then the results on track wasn't an issue :D

Marko:
"I think the performance in Austin will be the key.
There are many things to come, we are now on the right track. The car needs a wider working window, not just relatively small changes or a 6-7 degrees temperature differences that already affecting the car’s performance.
Because just relying on second place is not good enough."

What kind of upgrades do we expect for Austin? Based on comments around the team (mostly Marko) it will be substantial. Besides the floor/diffuser which is obvious.
I kind of hope for new wings as well. With new profile and/or with more flexing?
Bodywork? For some reason I don't expect it to change.
Suspension? Probably would be too much at this time of the season.
Anything else?

I pretty much expect only a retouched floor, since that is apparently what they messed up that got them to this situation.

Floor is the base of the package. Maybe they can bring a Flexiwing as well.

Although Perez burned through a lot of money, Red Bull is also supposedly down to just 4 employees and a pack of chewing gum if the media stories about are to be taken at face value. So, there would have been a big cost savings from lack of payroll.

RBR will continue on with the stiff car concept and focus on aero for the rest of the season, they have no choice in that. Going for a wider range on their suspension may not be possible with the current chassis or not compatible with their aero philosophy.

But I think it is end of road for the stiff car concept, as the Mclaren and Ferrari softer approach seems to have more headroom for more circuits.

RBR will have to learn a whole new philosophy for next year, last year of a rule cycle. It would be understandable if they do not attempt it.

I'm not sure if it is whole new to them?
They started this ruleset by softer philosophy and only stiffened their suspension for this year. So they just have to go back by 1 year, not start from scratch.
