Anticlimactic in a way, the only advantage of this design RB used was exceptional Q pace (compared to R pace) and only if overall track layout allowed for it.

I still don't think this design had much to do with bringing front of the bib down in the race, but rather getting it up in Q and plank out of harms way when the car is trully at its absolute lowest during the weekend. This way, you put it back into place during a time when the car is expected to go through checkups and basic maintenance and by the time it drives to the grid (when everyone can have a clear and unobstructed look into every detail) no one can see anything suspicious on the outside
And they call it a stall. A STALL!

Red Bull have confirmed that they have made changes to their car as a result of discussions with governing body the FIA.

Rivals had alerted the FIA to a device in the Red Bull cockpit that they believed could be used to adjust the height of the front of the car's floor.

The concern of rival teams was that this could be used to make changes to the car's set-up between qualifying and races, when they are not allowed.

A Red Bull spokesperson told BBC Sport: "Yes, [the device] exists, although it is inaccessible once the car is fully assembled and ready to run.

"In the numerous correspondence we have with the FIA, this part came up and we have agreed a plan going forward."

Based on Red Bull's explanation, if the device was inaccessible once the car was fully assembled and ready to run, then it would not have been possible to use it to make any illegal adjustments during the critical parc fermé period. Since under parc fermé regulations, teams are not allowed to disassemble or modify key components of the car after the start of qualifying and until the race. So they didn't cheat. It was just something they had to change because other teams had this suspicion.

That's what they would say, don't you think. :)

But it also might be just like they said: no changes possible once the car is fully assembled.

Perhaps. Red Bull had also ‘strongly denied’ that they had it in the first place.

They denied using a system to make changes under parc-ferme.

Then why have you wasted your resources on something that didn't need to exist. Come on now.

I don't know, making setup changes quicker during FP...
TBH I'm afraid we will never find out.

Red Bull maintained their performance level in Singapore, despite the FIA already monitoring and ensuring they didn’t use the device to adjust the bib or floor. This clearly suggests that the device wasn’t a key factor in their performance. It likely had a legitimate purpose for car setup during legal periods, but after rival teams and the FIA raised concerns about its potential for misuse, Red Bull agreed to modify it to avoid any controversy.

My point exactly. Why develop a system that can be done by a mechanic. It's a waste of money, time and probably added weight to the car, if it didn't add performance, performance that only came when changes were made during times when changes are not allowed to occur.

You have a point, but in a scenario set in court, your argument won't last 5 seconds.
