Mclaren have had to make modifications to their full range of rear wings regarding the ‘mini drs’

How so? What nonsense. Considering that only one rear wing specification had a sagging upper flap due to insufficient rigidity. The other specifications don't have such problems. Which means there is no mini DRS there either.

After reading the article to me it seems all of their rear wings rotated in a way to create a mini drs and they have agreed to stiffen them up

Time to see if WDC is on. Obviously having a bad qualifying here doesn't mean all is lost, but it would be great to start out strong and put the pressure on Verstappen.

EDIT: Lando looked to have a bad T1 with oversteer but destroyed S3. I think the car will be strong, they just need to find a solution for T1.

We definately need to push for the WDC as I dont see how we can lose the WCC. The upgrades are working each time and so far they haven't fumbled much. We need a better time from Oscar. That 1 second distance is too much.

Funny though how the FIA chooses which rule to implement and which not to. Aparently track limits are implemented but Max Verstappen passing everyone in the pits over the white line isn't even checked or Leclerc using his car as a weapon seems normal.

It's that first lap that is the problem. Almost a second off to Lando, like come on. Unless he made a mistake which can happen, but it's SQ1, you're supposed to put a banker in to be comfortable.

Car appears super stiff from the onboards though, it's just horrible into T1.

He was much slower in S1 on his first lap (Norris didn't have a great T1 as well) so it was probably a mistake for most of the time lost. Also Norris nailed his S3.
