Miami sprint was 6th and 9th, after some upgrades. Didn't all kick in instantly.

Strange that Lando was -0.009 vs Russell after S2 and by the end of the lap he was +0.25. I watched again Lando's onboarding for S3 and no clear mistake except a small engine snap (maybe due to an error in gear selection?) on the last corners.

It looks like he might have had a snap in the long 16-17-18 fast sequence and his minimum speed on 19 is really bad, so a mistake there as well. Without that, car might have had sprint pole here, which would have been a mega effort by Lando with how "uncooperative" the car looks so far.

Lando finished the lap 2 tenths down on Russell but that graph shows Norris' delta only level with Russell at the end

Something about it being shocking ( not sure anyone thought it was) said really struggling with balance, not confident for the sprint. And that it's not a new upgrade package.

Was traditional lando despondency.

But it's understandable, Ferrari upgraded last race, RBR have made changes, as have Merc. Does seem Mclaren are slightly behind on the upgrades, which could bite them.

The delta is not accurate towards the end. Bad alignment between the laps. Actually in general it’s just approximation, but anyway, just posted it to show the weird issue at 16–17-18
