Target is to win .

Realistic goal should be at least P3.

Piastri should be sacrificed to evaluate new setups to be in better position for qualy and the race.

Do we stand a chance from 4th to win? There will probably be 18 to 20 laps to do what we do so we might have to attack quickly to go 2nd and then to get 1st wont be easy.

Probably not. Sprints are usually boring because there are no pitstop so little options on strategy.

Let's see how the start will go as you never know. Max might botch his start as he isn't perfect. Lando has to try and get to 2nd in a few laps before Max gets away no matter what Max does.

By the way. Was Oscar compromised by another car during his timed laps making him get out of track?

They have to change something going into the race tomorrow. Too much degradation on the front left.

Second seems an ok place considering it's not the ideal set up. Hopefully we can find something more later in Qualifying and the race tomorrow.

I'm curious to ask but is Tsunoda defending on the limits of fairness?

Third place it is. Only 2 points lost. Let's see what happens later in Qualifying and tomorrow on the race. He has to improve his mind though. He's making too many mistakes under pressure.

They lost tires too quickly, first time in a while they have such bad tire wear compared to everyone else. Also, car is horrible on the last sector. Some of it was tire management, but still, horrible nonetheless. Hopefully they can salvage something and can improve going forward, because if the car remains like this, it won't be on the podium tomorrow.

Hopefully they can check the set up between Sprint and Qualifying and find 3 more tenths cause the car is not performing as intended. So now it's 54 points with Qualifying and the race tomorrow to give big points and another 5 races and two sprints. The Drivers Championship is still open. Nothing is over.

I thought he did pretty well. The car wasn't really a match for Red Bull, and I'd say Ferrari were faster on those tyres.

His tyres were gone, so just clinging on at the end.

We shall see in 3 hours if the team manages to find a more ideal set up cause I notice that Mclaren doesn't find the ideal set up immediately. Unless though we are very weak at Austin.

I don't believe in the championship at all to be honest. Car is nowhere near being comfortably fastest to allow Lando win every race going forward.

This, for me personally, is notoriously reminiscent of the 2017-2018 championship battles. I remember just hoping things would go well for Seb so he could close the gap to Lewis and potentially stop the domination streak. It's looking like what happened those years will happen this season as well.

Getting that WCC though would be a big achievement and that's not over yet.
