Lando is a very quick driver over one lap. All those years he missed a car that could fight for the title. It's natural that he is not used to fight for the championship like Max was but give him a few years with a dominant car if things go as planned and he will get that experience.

The base of the upgrades I think are Miami, but with bits refined and added, Zak said they’re looking at hundreds and thousandth's in lap time with new upgrades now, likely hitting their peak for the season like most teams

It’s a nip and tuck season and has been since Miami, yes Mclaren and Red Bull have had dominant wins but certain members get absolutely obsessed with wanting crushing wins and dominant seasons.

The cars are reaching their peaks and literally anything is giving a 1 tenth sway to a team at any given moment

Great Job by NOR, I would say also a bit lucky with the Pole position as we do not have the pure speed this weekend, obviously a set up error on Friday but lets focus on tomorrow. PIA was decent, but never in the game for top3 which is a bit of a shame.

Not sure he has had a dip, just that it's got closer with other cars improving.

He is also relatively inconsistent, but when he dies we'll he probably gets overhyped, though when he doesn't perform he gets over criticised.

Great stuff by Norris. It is always super important to nail the first lap, this type of things happen.

About the second run, it will be easier to see with telemetry but Norris didn't seem to be improving. Verstappen roughly matched his S1 from first run but looked to be better in S2, he probably would take it.

Sainz was also on a fast one - probably close to Norris first run.

Finally some luck falls our way. Verstappen drove away from two race ending crashes to get 20 points. Lando deserves some luck.

T1 will be tough. Lando should be ready to crash. No mercy.

Interesting that in Baku it was Lando shoukd have done a better lap early so he doesn't get impacted by the yellow flags.

He gets it done early, and it's lucky lando.

On the positive, if Norris keeps P1 it is likely VER will be under pressure from Sainz and Leclerc. Sainz is super aggressive as he is leaving for Williams.

This is off topic but do you think Mercedes is sabotaging Hamilton? After his Spa win there are too many problems on his car and I find it hard to believe that Hamilton can't suddenly perform when there wasn't a single year where he could perform.
