Lots of factors in not getting the 1-2 here - nothing to worry about anyway: a 1-3 + fastest lap, especially with Piastri scoring small, is a fantastic result for the constructors. Vamos!
Leclerc had 44 laps of Lift and Coast where his side asked him to progressively do more and more of it each lap and each corner of the first 25 laps of the race. At the end his brakes were overheating anyway. He didn't have it this weekend, the missed practices meant he wasn't on top of it.
Good stuff from SAI, driven a great race, I would love MUCH MUCH less whining from him, he just gets on my nerves with his constant whining and asking "check what's Charles pace and tell me" and all of this nonsense about his team mate.
MCL and Ferrari are evenly matched but MCL is the better car IMHO so very good to have gotten away with 1-3 here when with PIA it would have been much harder.
