There are plenty of positives to take from this race.

Both cars had good pace, Verstappen got two heavy penalties in wheel to wheel fight against Norris. Verstappen and Red Bull had no race pace (slower than Mercedes).

Norris reduces the gap by 10 points. If Red Bull doesn't improve their pace in next races Max will be under threat. We just need to qualify well ahead of him (Piastri needs to be there).

I am glad that this whole fastest lap point bullcrap is over so not every idiot pitting at the last lap. Max Verstappen has to get a grid place penalty at some point.

Piastri underwhelming?

Today, it is ok. Yesterday a big mistake.

He was quite bad in first stint. He needed to be faster against those hard runners. But he made up for it by staying long and then having good pace on hards. I like how aggressive he is in his attacks. It will help him a lot in his career.

Main note to take away for me, avoid Max and McLaren have the pace to fight Ferrari in remaining races.

Correction. We have the car to win all the remaining races but we need to be away from Max somehow and we need Oscar near us. By the way how are Ferrari and Red Bull in terms of motor units?

A good recovery drive from Lando. If he'd had a better Saturday or Max hadn't held him up, it could have been a win.

Good recovery from Oscar too. If he hadn't of screwed up his Saturday this could have been a strong day for both championships.

Regarding power units how are the Ferrari, Mclaren and Red Bull in terms of how many they can still use? Max should be at his last and it might be pretty weared by now.

Landos race pace was very good- way better than I thought.
Piastri needs to quit with the quali mistakes.

Verstappen is something else. He’s probably cost McLaren the chance to fight for the win 2 times in 7 days now. I feel the stewards took action today but maybe more needs to be done. Why should Norris need to ‘stay in the race’ when in wheel to wheel combat with Max?

Lando drove outstanding today. Very unlucky with Max driving him off and ruining his race. Luckily, Max finally got some proper punishment this time around and Norris managed to keep fighting and take P2 off Ferrari and reduce the damage a bit.

Oscar has been off these last GP’s. Today was again not good enough from him. He should had been there to finish in front of Max. 20 seconds is a lot! I am a fan and I really see a lot of potential in him, but he needs to live up to that these final races because we really need it now or this championship will slip through our fingers.

Would be nice if both drivers can maximise qualifying these next weekends so we don’t have to deal with this kamikaze driver anymore.
