Thought they did quite well. It was clear the pace between the 3 teams was similar, until Ferrari dropped off. That made it hard to swap easily.

But, that RB pace did show that all the talk of them struggling isn't quite right.

It's sprint, which is quite variable with the shorter setup time. The order or gaps could be quite different for Qualy and the Race.

Great that we got a 1-2. Strong driving from both today, in Particular Oscar who had a nice recovery from a 2 less than stellar weekends. Big thanks to Oscar for risking the threat from Max in giving Lando the extra point.

Verstappen is alway a threat in quali and the sprints with or without bad race pace on a sunday

On the positive, we didn't lose points through strategy mistakes, Ferrari doesn't look fast (hopefully we seal WCC in coming races) and while Verstappen looks decent he did lose 3 points in a sprint.

Let's keep at it. Need to get 1-2 again and dominate the race.

Let's hope qualy lands nicely for the team. A 1-2 with verstappen down the order a little would be nice.
I think if there is no big points swing tomorrow (15 points) the wdc will be over.

We are gonna have unfortunately wet qualifying. By the way. I am hearing accusations of Mclaren being FIA's favorite because of that VSC happening after Lando passed Oscar. What is your opinion about these baseless accusations?

I think the car looked good on a green track in FP1.

It's a heavy rain. Can the qualification be done? I can't say it's ideal as the Mclaren are best in mixed conditions.

Btw shows how "accurate" these weather forecasts are. An hour ago they were predicting no race until after qualy and now we have a thunderstorm.

I fully expect dry race tomorrow.

Yes. But I think they can do qualifying on Sunday as well. Not sure if they have free choice of that.

But if qualy is cancelled and then it rains up to the race tomorrow, it's FP1 results. That would be insane (Max was P15, Perez P19, LEC P6 and SAI P7).
