So this is probably the last delay they can do. They can't really delay it after 17:00 because it would be too late.

I think it's definitely not happening today.

well, tomorrow looks likely to be worse, so if they can't qualify in today's coditions, then there may be no race anyway
Could you link the forecast? I saw that the amount of rain is quite low tomorrow.
YR and weather.com both show rain all day

https://www.yr.no/en/forecast/hourly-ta ... rlagos?i=1

https://weather.com/en-GB/weather/hourb ... 7a1e1b57b1

but for today both had almost no rainfall forecast, so it may very well be as inaccurate, of course.

not sure what you mean. i think its pretty much given it will be wet before the race. forecast says rain all day basically.
I have a feeling you will be calling for the race to be cancelled.
I get where you are coming from( not hiding Iam max fan) I wrote yesterday on this very forum I would like race to go no matter what cars pace is, especially if it is wet. Because I'm f1 fan above all and there is no better thing than a wet race, especially if its full wet race. I keep dreaming of watching another one in my lifetime, I don't have much hope though seeing what direction that all is going...

Yr is showing less than a mm of rain per hour. This seems very low.

Would love to know.

"1mm of rain per hour is considered a light rain, like a drizzle, but you should be fine with a waterproof jacket or carrying an umbrella"

But caution as

based on this, seems that the race itself is at risk, let alone the quali.

Sensible delay, looked it was already too dark to run safely. No chance they don't do a Q session at all, half the grid would jump at race direction since no one does FP1 with intent to run Q3 simulation on a Sprint weekend
And they call it a stall. A STALL!

So all this noise about the order being taken from FP1 is nonsense ? In that case stewards will look at Max in P20 and decide nope we can't do that

Commentary were just saying its a possibility, they said since theres nothing stating how it has to be handled they could do it based on FP1 results, which Karun pointed out would be unfair to people like Max and Lewis who were on different run plans and never ran the softs. They could also do it based on sprint quali or the standings in the drivers' championship.
