Yeah getting very angry now after hearing of course max might start p20 if qualy will not go ahead. What else to expect , what a big joke. Of course because their favourite boy Lando would start from p1,because the grid order will be based on the practice 1. Very unfair, and would mean ever more that this sport is being manipulated by the British.

Will not watch this bad show ever again this year if this happens.
Ofcourse. Brits manipulated weather conditions (as they are experts in rain).

How is it unfair, when it is the rules? The only unfair thing this weekend so far would be delayed VSC.

So all this noise about the order being taken from FP1 is nonsense ? In that case stewards will look at Max in P20 and decide nope we can't do that
I think the stewards would love that to be honest.

It would be much better to just take the qualy results from the sprint. Thats it.

The weather forecast for tomorrow is worse than today, with rain practically all day. I'm afraid we won't have a race tomorrow.

Apparently theres nothing in the rules saying they have to use FP1 if there is no quali tomorrow. They can use sprint quali results or the drivers' standings to set the grid, its basically up to what the stewards want to do

it's not nonsense, but the only rule there is in the current regulations for something that comes anywhere close to this situation.

But yes, it is originally a rule which comes in play when drivers don't set a time in Qualifying, not when all drivers aren't able to. So maybe they can still do whatever they like instead

Low light was also why today's qualifying was postponed. I'm hoping they can get going sxtra early tomorrow and even keep the race at an ealier time too.

and what about 13,5 seconds delay between "VSC enging" message and the moment track was declared green? Experts say it should be within 5-10s. Turns out Max timed the overtake perfectly if so.

Judging by sprint race pace, Verstappen probably would win the main race. He probably would have passed Piastri and possibly even Lando if it weren't for the VSC.

I think not, it was the same in Austin. In sprint we were strong, but on high-fuel we were struggling in the low-speed corners with the traction. Also the tyre deg was much higher comparing againts Mclaren, Ferrari. Our weakness are the hard tyres in the last races.

#-o
It took him 19 laps to pass Leclerc, what kind of overtake on Piastre are we talking about?

In Spa a year ago they clearly said, they will not use the FP times, but WDC standings even before Q, which was in danger. Now two things are surprising...they did not announce the same before Q today and they did not even announce anything when they cancelled it.

Have you been watching the season at all? You cant judge or predict the race pace based on sprint pace, especially this year when they are allowed to change setup. It's no secret Max was far more competitive on softer, medium tires in Sprints all but Mclaren got far better on every single occasion on Sunday.
