Immediate red flag for Alonso. This and valuing Hulkenberg's life less than one point for Norris is infinitely worse than abu dhabu 2021.

More red flags in Q3. This is basically unwatchable.

I love Interlagos, but it's unbearable in the wet. It's just a never ending red flag saga in Q and race.

Alonso wiped the front right corner off the car = instant red.

Stroll was still running, potentially could have got going again.

It'd be a huge shame if a race director held a red flag to advantage a certain driver. Downright unethical, and frankly it would signify FIA interference in setting up the outcome. Thankfully Verstappen has never benefited flagrantly from such in the past, like say, at Jeddah 2021. My heart goes out to him.

Only for Stroll’s it was nearly a minute to put out red flag.

Taken from Reddit comment:

Sky Germany said it took 52 seconds for the red flag. I think they said it took 12 seconds for Colapinto and 18 for sainz.

Isn't it fascinating how karma works and how in the end everything will be balanced somehow?
Also interesting Max being offended by the rules "not being applied" when he won a whole championship because rules were not applied.
Anyway, now onto our situation today.
In 2021, Lewis lost the championship in favor of Max because of a crash by Latifi.
In 2024, Max might've just lost a championship in favor of Lando because of a crash by Stroll.
Depending on which side you are, it's good or bad.
No matter what side you are, it's always balancing itself out in the end.

If rain really does come down we have another lucky break for norris lol. I get it he got the lap in, but it just prevent everyone else from even attempting anything. gg

I bet this is because of the new tarmac.

The confusion about this latest 'instant' red flag was because the FOM international feed was showing a replay, while Alonso crashed. During the replay first a single yellow, than a double yellow and within a few seconds a red flag came out. Meanwhile the replay was showing and when that ended, the above mentioned cycle from yellow to red had been going on. The international feed made it looks like there was an instant red flag, while in reality there wasn't.

The 40+ seconds waiting time on bringing out the red flag in Q2 needs some serious reviewing though! Just remember Bianchi!

There’s interference in every sport. Naive to think this is not happening, or ever happened in the past.

I think Ver had to lift anyway so the red flag didn't change much for him. Red Bull need to look at how they run qualifying. It was only on Friday where Perez's side didn't get him to the flag in time.

Max had time to finish his lap. He did lose some time in S1 but with a better S2 and S3 he probably could have made it.
No he didn't, red flag came up when he was in S2 and he was attempting to finish the lap (and would have gotten trough probably).
Ah, sorry. Unlucky.
Didn't he have double yellows in S2? Surely the lap time would have been deleted anyway.
