Oscar has to reedeem himself later at the race. He should be able to pass everyone apart from Ferrari and Mercedes. We can't accept anything less considering how faster his car is.

What a roller-coaster of a quali...... NOR started bad but improved to POLE, great JOB by him, too bad PIA locked up into turn 1 on his last lap, this cost him 5-6 posituons but the most important is where we will end the race, fingers crossed is a 1-2 McLaren

Lando should have a word with George before the start, not saying George shouldn't attack, just don't go crazy. I'm not comfortable with him in P2, he has the tendency to be erratic.

George should stay behind as he isn't challenging for anything and even if he goes first he won't last in first more than 1 or 2 laps. The Mercedes is nowhere near Mclaren's speed.

Good job for Lando Norris. Oscar dissapointed me on the last lap. I believe though that Oscar won't have a problem passing the opposition tomorrow.

Hahaha...you and VCARB staff telling Yuki P3 is a good place for tomorrow. Only that the race is today )) Funny to have quali on Sunday.
Interesting quali, happy for Lando and I am not blaiming Oscar. It was very tricky and good that he kept the car one piece. More to come in the race. Hope to be a positive both from.WCC and WDC.

you never stop amazing us with your 'fan-ultras' type posts. I fear you will go into depression in case Norris doesn't win WDC. Most probably he should, considering how he has been handed all the luck on a platter this weekend. But still, there is a chance he wouldn't. I want to see him win it, make no mistake ; but pouring so much emotion into something that relies on 'chance' isn't healthy.

Trust me I won't have a problem even if he doesn't make it. Still that doesn't make what I say less true. While there isn't a rule that forbids George to compete I think he shouldn't as he won't even last in 1st place for more than 2 laps. I trust Lando though that he will make it first.

Considering how Lando passed Q1 in P15 could have been worse. P1-P2 was as possible as P17 and P14 for e.g. So let's enjoy the outcome of a crazy quali, we are better than our competitors both in Drivers Championship and Constructor and hope this to be converted also in the race.
As Oscar said yesterday, Lando has the best place for this.

I don't doubt that George will be sensiing and expecting a win from this. Every man for himself and all that

Good performance by Lando in those conditions, it's times like this that build reputation in drivers.
