Of course. That's the difference between a world champion and a mediocre driver. Having that mentality and taking risks when it's meant to be is a must for any top class driver.
The others, the not-so-good drivers think like you. And that's why aren't able to understand that mistakes may happen when you strongly want the glory. That said, when the risks end up in a good result, just a few are aware that it could have ended up very bad. Yeah... This time it resulted very bad. And while you criticize having taken the risk... I can't applaud it more. For me it's been very well done, and that's just what I expect from ALO, and what has made him an F1 legend.
