Yeah. It was going to require hell of a lot of luck to beat Verstappen. The way he drove today he deserves to be WDC. Congratulations to him.

McLaren can now probably focus on getting the WDC and hopefully we can seal that with no major problems.

Not sure stopping was that bad a decision at the time, just in hindsight.

Well they knew you cannot capitalize on pitting early, Russel would have been stuck behind other cars at least for a lap or two. Not sure why they pitted together really.

Btw it looks like it can be worse, both Mercedes noted for changing tire pressure on the grid. Possible DSQ for them.

I don't disagree that Max drove brilliantly but he would not be able to catch the first two without a lucky incident. I agree that he was the fastest at the start but at some point the first two opened the difference from 10 seconds to 14 seconds.
