And of course something out of Russells control has to knock him back behind Hamilton in points.
Seriously who really cares. GR will finish ahead anyway and you lot can bang on about 3 year championship like Button in 2010 - 2012 while your blinded by the simple fact that this team is deteriorating and will continue to do so unless they make some tough decisions throughout the organisation.
The incompetence all around is beyond a joke. Riding onboard with Russell and in particularly Hamilton was grim stuff. Tentative, low grip, brakes not working properly. Bouncing etc just a endless shithow of performance from a car that has been upgraded. GR is driving the wheels off but even he's starting to believe this team aint got what it takes. They have parred off Lewis like a hamburger wrapper into a bin. At this rate he's just a passenger with these setups and low effort from his side of the garage. Bono giving him sparse responses was evident.
There's no doubt there making life harder for Lewis, he looks like a absolute amateur on track, i see no shades of vintage no shades of him maximising the car. Yes Lewis in general doesn't like these cars and his performances have been hit and miss in the modern era but this year... even his race pace has gone missing with this car.
10 plus years with a team that has been the stable for Lewis's career and this is how it ends. Seriously id rather Lewis calls it quits now and get Kimi in that car ASAP. Both parties are done. Divorce.
“And that’s part of the game, is being able to be adaptive, and we’ve got this new car – I don’t know how it’s going to handle, hopefully she’s great.”
